Fall basics: Black & Neutrals

Fall basics: Black & Neutrals

Now that I live in Miami, I get more excited about fall than I ever was and that’s because there is no fall in Miami. -_- When you feel that slight decrease in temperature, light wind or when you start noticing your hair doesn’t get that frizzy, that’s when you think on pulling your sweaters out of the deepest corners of your closet.

I know, it can be a struggle to wear a sweater outside during the daytime here, but it is completely possible to wear it inside: to work, to a coffee date or to a shopping mall. It always amazed me how hot is is outside and how freezing it is indoors. I feel like people here don’t really care about saving energy and blast AC’s, but hey, I also get a chance to wear warmer clothes, so no bad thing without some good in it.

My mood directly depends on the weather, so black skinny jeans are my to-go for rainy days. I love being cozy and warm during colder rainy days, hence my love for chunky sweaters. Less is more, I know, but I always make sure I have that ‘extra’ something in my outfit that makes it stand out, in this case that would be my “beautiful” (and not ugly :) ) sneakers. My outfit below is from Zara (got a year ago, so sold out), but I linked all of my favorites this season, as well as the sneakers! Happy Shopping!
